It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

AWWWWWWWWWWW MAN so excited for New York Comic Con last year was my very 1st time going and i had a ball this time i will b super prepared especially my portfolio this time i have all the requirements that the pros wanted to see in my Portfolio some of the art work ive done i have not posted on DA ill do that after i come back from comic con so Archie comics im more than ready 4 u guys this time lol anyway i hope to see some of the ppl from DA that like my work especially the ones i met lastyear the funny part about how i met some of my watchers lastyear was i open my portfolio and BAM!! "OMG UR TRUNKS24" not gonna lie that amped me up and made me feel like i was one of the Archie Sonic members hope i get that reaction again this year or even better be put on the team....all wish for thinking.

Well I would love to meet you in person, fellow deviant, but I am unable to attend NYCC this year. I wish you the best of luck with Archie Comics. I believe you will be apart of their team very soon.
